Tips to Choosing the Right Corolla Trim for You

Which Corolla Trim is Right for You?

Selecting the right trim for your Toyota Corolla doesn’t have to be a challenge. You do have many options. There are four main trims, a special-edition trim, and two sub-trims for most levels. That being said, it is fairly easy to figure out which version is right for you since they build on each other.

Corolla L

Starting off the Corolla lineup is the L trim level, which is priced at just $17,300**. This configuration comes standard with everything Thomasville drivers truly need, including 15-inch steel wheels, LED running lights, LED low-beam headlights, and halogen high beams. Inside, you get air conditioning, power accessories, auxiliary controls on a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, 6-way adjustment for the driver, 4-way adjustment for the passenger, and 60/40 rear seats. The Corolla L also comes standard with Entune, a 6.1-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, voice controls, Siri Eyes Free, a USB port and auxiliary audio jack, a CD player, and six speakers.

Corolla LE

The LE trim is ideal for those who want 16-inch steel wheels, keyless entry, variable intermittent wipers, and heated mirrors. This trim starts at $18,735**. It also adds automatic climate control, a rearview camera, and cruise control.

The Corolla LE offers an Entune Plus Audio system with Scout GPS Link, HD radio, and satellite radio. You can also go with the LE Plus for 16-inch alloy wheels and fog lights. This trim also offers an Entune Premium Audio system featuring integrated navigation and the Entune App Suite. You can add the Driver Convenience Package for a sunroof, roof-mounted antenna, and keyless entry plus ignition. A final option for this trim is the LE Premium, which builds on all of the options of the LE Plus. It also upgrades to SofTex upholstery, heated front seats, and 8-way power for the driver.

Corolla LE Eco

With a starting price of $19,135**, the Corolla LE Eco builds on the LE. It is more efficient thanks to aerodynamics, a rear spoiler, low-rolling-resistance tires, 15-inch steel wheels, and special tuning for the engine and transmission. The LE Eco Plus trim combines the amenities of the LE Eco and LE Plus with chrome window trim, the Eco driving mode, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The LE Eco Premium adds the features of the LE Premium.

Corolla S

If you want the top-of-the-line Toyota Corolla, consider the S trim, which starts at $19,365**. This model builds on the LE, adding some unique styling, a rear spoiler, sport front seats, leather on the steering wheel, paddle shifters, sport instrumentation, a trip computer, and a Sport driving mode.

Like the other trims, there is also a Sport Plus sub-trim. This adds rear disc brakes, firmer suspension tuning, and 17-inch alloy wheels. It has the option of the Driver Convenience package and sunroof. Getting the S Plus with a manual transmission includes the Driver Convenience Package as standard. However, it gets rid of the paddle shifters. As expected, the S Premium combines the features of the LE Premium with the S Plus.

Corolla S Special Edition

The Special Edition is technically a sub-trim, but it stands alone in some ways. This trim builds on the S Plus featuring the CVT. It is unique with 17-inch alloy wheels featuring a gloss black finish, unique styling and badging, keyless entry, and keyless ignition. This version starts at $20,635**.
