Doll’s Head Trail

Once upon a time, the area around Constitution Lakes was famous for making bricks. Once the brick factory was closed in the 1950s, the area was left to decay until 2003 when the county took control of the property and opened it as a park. Artist Joel Slaton hit upon an idea to encourage others to help him clean up the site. He created the Doll’s Head Trail. Along the trail, visitors see artwork created by artists that found all the parts for their creation within the park’s boundaries.
