Georgia Arbor Day Community Event
The City of Valdosta, for the 31st year in a row, has once again won the Tree City U.S.A. award. It will be formally awarded by the Valdosta Tree Commission on Arbor Day at the Georgia Arbor Day Community Event. Attend the Arbor Day event on February 17th from 10:00 am.
2017 Azalea Festival
The Annual Azalea Festival has become a major destination event that features more than 170 craft and art vendors who travel to the festival from many different states. There are several stages with live entertainment being performed, a giant food court, a Classic Cars, and Motorcycles show, fun for the kids and adults, alike. This year the 17th Annual Azalea Festival will be held on March 11th & 12th!
Saturday Night Fever
Held in Valdosta’s Mathis City Auditorium, this recreation of the classic musical Saturday Night Fever brings to life the fantasies of Tony, a kid from Brooklyn, who is coming-of-age as a voracious dancer. The music is vintage disco: K.C. & the Sunshine Boys, the Bee Gees, and many other great old disco bands. See this show #3 of the Presenter Series on March 20th from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
