Get back to nature this fall by attending the 26th Annual Wildlife Arts Festival. Every fall, Thomasville Center for the Arts hosts this event to welcome renowned wildlife artists from all over the south. This fine arts show is the perfect way to kick off the beginning of Georgia’s quail season. Bring the entire family along to this event, where they will be able to enjoy the art, celebrate the land, and attend workshops led by artists and designers.
Educational Opportunities
Thomasville Center for the Arts strives to provide a plethora of educational opportunities for people of all ages. They base their programs on cultural experiences for the members of their community. They have two large scale multi-faceted public arts experiences, host quarterly exhibitions, and run THOM Magazine.
The Details
The Wildlife Arts Festival will be at The Thomasville Center for the Arts November 11th-21st this year. They have lots of events and experiences planned out for guests to enjoy. On the first evening, there will be an opening reception where a ribbon cutting will take place. Throughout the week, some of the planned activities include an off-road trail riding adventure and an open-air concert. There will be a fine arts sale and show, where guests can look at items made by jewelers, woodworkers, knife makers, and ironworkers. Young artists will be invited to show off their skills while also learning a lesson in local wildlife and ecosystems. There will be a live auction where attendees can bid on different wildlife works of art they hope to bring home with them. Dinner, music, and fun will be provided for guests!
