4Runner: 1998 to 2009

Between 1998 and 2002, the 4Runner saw major interior and cosmetic enhancements. This moved it right into the fourth generation of 2002 to 2009, where there were some serious changes. The front end wasn’t as bulky as the previous generation. The styling was sleeker among its three trim levels.

Right now, the Toyota 4Runner is in its fifth generation, and its styling has once again changed into something that is very sophisticated and defined. There are a lot of technological features and a Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System that helps the 4Runner handle rough terrain. The 2013 facelift has definitely worked well for the 4Runner, and the TRD Pro trim level that was introduced for the 2015 model year also hit the mark.
