Easter Egg Hunt at Pebble Hill

This Saturday, April 8, you can bring the whole family out for Pebble Hill’s sixth Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Starting at 9 a.m., children from age to two to grade two are welcome to search Pebble Hill’s gorgeous grounds to find hidden eggs, and some lucky egg hunters might discover special golden eggs for unique prizes. There will also be other fun and games, and a photographer will be on site in case you want to book a photo session to commemorate the occasion. If you come back to Pebble Hill on Saturday, April 29 at 10 a.m., you can explore the grounds on a guided garden tour.

Thomasville Artifact Show

There’s so much history on this land, and you can learn about what life in this region was like centuries ago at the Thomasville Artifact Show on Saturday, April 15 at 8 a.m. You’ll see a variety of Native American artifacts on display, and if you have an artifact at home that you’d like to know more about, you can bring it for a free artifact identification! This event will be held at the Southern Regional Technical College.

Due South

Since 2011, the Due South festival of art, food, and music has served as the perfect occasion for locals and visitors to come together to enjoy all things Americana. You’ll see public art on display, and you can dig into delicious dishes from various food trucks while songs fill the evening air. This year’s headliner is Reckless Kelly, who’s booked this gig as part of their Southeast Farewell Tour. Presented by the Thomasville Center for the Arts, this year’s event takes place on Saturday, April 15. The gates open at 5 p.m., and the opening act goes on at 6 p.m. Visit the festival’s event page for ticket info and more details.

The Rose Show

A parade of beautiful blooms tells us all that spring is in full swing! This Thomasville tradition has been running since the 1920s, and this year’s even will feature an antique car show, an artisan market, and more. It will be held in downtown Thomasville on Friday, April 28.
