Types of Plants to Expect

As always, the range of plants at the Old Timey Plant Sale will be incredibly varied. You can find old garden plants, plants that attract birds and butterflies, and heirloom tomatoes. If you are looking for something a bit larger, you will also see native shrubs, trees, and perennials. Most importantly, the offerings will focus on local species that do well in the area, making them easy to grow. Expect plenty of types of wild azalea along with unusual and rare plants.

Get Help Making a Selection

For those who only have a slightly green thumb, you will be glad to know that the sale will feature numerous horticulturists who are volunteering to help out. They’ll gladly use their knowledge to help you choose which greenery is right for your garden.
