Details about the Independence Day Celebration
Every year the people of Thomasville look forward to their annual Independence Day Celebration. The fireworks will begin at about 6:30pm on the 4th. In downtown Thomasville, you can expect to experience a day full of love and festivities. For 18 years, CNS digital TV has brought the annual fireworks and events as a way for the community to express its ultimate thanks. Because of the daily community support and great neighborhoods they maintain! The fireworks will typically end around 10pm-11pm at night. Make sure you come on an empty stomach! Food Vendors are supplied and typically prefer if you pay with cash. So keep that in mind when preparing to pack for the festival.
It’s a Family-Friendly Event
Games are arranged throughout the area for children of all ages to indulge in. Last year some child-friendly activities included face painting along with, various crafts to partake in. Also, included in the kid-friendly areas last year were free watermelon slices and tons of yard games. Be sure to bring your own lawn chair or blanket to post the kiddos up on during the fireworks show. Also, make sure you let your kids participate in the annual cupcake decorating contest!
