Shop The Home Collection At Firefly

vintage furniture

Looking for unique gifts for a loved one (or even for yourself) this holiday season? Visit Firefly and shop their home collection. No, this shop doesn’t have anything to do with Joss Whedon’s gone-too-soon space Western TV show.  Instead, this Firefly is owned and operated by Nan Myers, who first opened up shop with her father in 2002. That means that for 20 years now, Firefly has offered amazing antiques, gifts, and beautiful items. In 2013, Nan bought out her father and has since made Firefly a lovely and welcome part of the community here in Thomasville.

Carefully Curated

Firefly aims to make holiday gift-shopping easy, with a little something for everyone on your Christmas list. One of the things that sticks out in Firefly’s collection is the small decorative items available for purchase. While plush gingerbread houses, snowmen, and gingerbread men aren’t antiques, they’re part of the small touches that can make a living space uniquely your own. Another note that makes Firefly feel so warm and friendly: Well-loved books are on hand for purchase. Did you love reading as a child? It’s probably because someone who cared about you put a book in your hands when you needed it. You can find a book that will fit your little ones and pass on that tradition to them.

Handmade

What else is there to like? How about all of the handcrafted and unique items? There’s just something about those one-of-a-kind items that makes them special. It shows that you’ve spent a lot of thought and time in selecting a gift for your loved one. You can trust that Nan has put a great deal of thought into every item that she stocks, so you can feel good about shopping for high-quality, singular items that will make the recipient feel warm and valued.
