You don’t have to travel far to snag a spot for an amazing game of golf on a quality course. Country Oaks Golf Course is only four miles from Thomasville, Georgia, and offers an 18-hole, par 72 course. If you have young golfers in the family, be sure to bring them along. This city-owned, family-focused course offers tee boxes for the young and improved golfer.
The History
In 1979, the Country Oaks Golf began as a 9-hole course. Soon after, the full, 18-hole course was completed, as well as an addition of a clubhouse. The course is shorter and narrow, which is sure to help you improve your performance off the tee box.
Playing Without Breaking the Bank
You don’t have to break the bank every time you want to swing your sticks. Whether you are taking the family out for some fun on the greens, looking to impress a client, or having a golf date with a loved one, you can play at Country Oaks Golf for a price that you will love. Depending on the time you play, you may be able to snag a tee time for as low as $23, up to $33.
Course Rules
Country Oaks Golf Course asks that you start on hole #1. They also ask that you don’t share clubs. Every player should have their own set of clubs or ask the pro shop about the rentals available. Please dress in your golf best. Clothing like tank tops, sleeveless shirts, or short shorts is not appropriate attire. Every player must obey the golf cart rules and follow the driving guidelines. You must be at least 16 years old to operate a golf course.
